Parenting style: Different at different times and circumstances…some things change as my daughter changes and gets older, and as our family has expanded. What’s consistent: lots of hugs, being silly, and as much time outside as possible. I definitely believe in letting my kids be who they are, but I draw the line at, say, shrieking in a restaurant or trying to squash the baby’s head.
Birth experience: My daughter was born via almost-emergency C-section 4 days late, and my son was a repeat C-section.
Infant feeding method: My daughter was exclusively breast-fed/breast milk fed until 6 months, and I am currently nursing my son.
Childcare: They attend daycare 4 days a week. My daughter started at 14 weeks, and my son is about to start at 14 weeks.
Where I live: I live in a suburban area in the Northeast.
Favorite kid activities: reading, playground, zoo/aquarium
